The new Justice League: God and Monsters trailer shows us an alternate world where Zod has become Superman and Batman is a high-tech vampire like creature. The animation has some throwback to the classic DCAU, a bit contrasted with the characters drawn in the New 52 continuity.
This all makes sense when considering Justice League: Gods and Monsters is an original production with Bruce Timm at the helm.
Analysis of this movie, from the trailer, is a bit underwhelming after the impressive Justice League: Throne of Atlantis that gave Aquaman some sea and street cred.
