PORT GIBSON, Miss. — In a story that is tragic in any way you look at it, Federal and state authorities are investigating the hanging death of a black man in Mississippi. As of now it is unknown if foul play has been determined as the cause of death and a suicide has not been ruled out. According to records, the man was reported missing on March 2nd.
The investigation is being thoroughly covered by the Justice Department, the US Attorney General and the FBI.
