[adinserter block=”1″]Selena Gomez apparently took off her shirt and provoked sensuality in a new spread of V Magazine. The sensual photos as you could see show off the actress’ flesh and are apparently not photoshopped.
If you are hoping to get a good look at the photos in my journalism here, then too bad! This is an expose into this so called modern social media culture of ours that objectifies women.
It burns my heart that to gain media attention, so many of these young actresses and singers feel they need to take their turn in ‘flaunting’ their flesh in front of pervy photographers. Do you remember when Miley Cyrus was Hannah Montana?
Then she did a Terry Richardson V Magazine shoot and became the Wrecking Ball of morality. Before long she will shave her hair and go mad, just like Britney Spears after she had a ‘oopsie’ shot sans knickers coming out of a car (which is what celebs did in the early aughts before 2010).
So now it seems that dating Justin Bieber was just not enough for Selena Gomez’s bad girl image. There was some forgettable summer flick she did a year or two ago but that was not enough for her ‘I’m grown and bad girl now image’, so I guess this photoshoot is what we get. When it doesn’t stick, I’m sure Richardson’s camera and some provocative twerking and tongue licking may be employed, because heaven forbid, we have someone who looks like good ol’ Momma Cass just singing and not having to use their body for notoriety.
