Sarah Palin is in hot water after posting Facebook photos showing her 6-year-old, Trig Palin, trampling their black dog.
Palin took to Facebook to blast a ‘Happy New Year!” message to her fans and followers.
“May 2015 see every stumbling block turned into a stepping stone on the path forward. Trig just remind me. He, determined to help wash dishes with an oblivious mama not acknowledging his signs for ‘up!’, found me and a a lazy dog blocking his way. He made his stepping stone.”
Fans of Palin were not so fond of the image, instantly calling out the former Alaska governor for animal abuse.
Trig, who has Down syndrome, was adorably going about his day, but some detractors on Facebook had the audacity to take their frustration with Sarah out on him as well.
“That is animal cruelty and this boy should be punished!!!!” Another poster stated, “Spare the rod spoil the child, punishment for dog abuse Sarah!”
The Reverend Al Sharpton joined in the furor, saying he heard Palin only lets her children stand on top of their black pets. This picture purportedly proved what he heard happens in the Palin house.
“Typical Palin. At least with this being a black dog, maybe people will get upset and do something about it. If it was a black child in Ferguson no one would care,” Sharpton fired in a statement.
As of last count over 30,000 people have commented on Palin’s Facebook post, clearly upset by the image.
