Obama’s America: 90-Year-Old, 2 Pastors Arrested for Feeding The Homeless

obama arrests florida man feeding homeless

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – So the persecution of the righteous begins.  In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 2 church pastors and a 90-year-old man have been forcibly arrested for the great crime of feeding the homeless.

The Bible warns Americans to always treat the poor with respect and to try to give them double of what they need, but we see Obama wants no more of this type of Christian morality.  Obama wants the homeless to stay homeless and starve.  Obama apparently wants Christians to stand by and watch people suffer.  This horrible story is just more proof of America’s desperate situation and crisis of morality.

The backstory here started when Arnold Abott, 90, was charged for not complying with a new ordinance that criminalizes feeding homeless people in public.  Obama’s troops demaned of Abbott, “Drop that plate immediatel!”

A shocked Abbott later reported to a local news station, “These are the poorest of the poor, they have nothing; they don’t have a roof over their heads. How do you turn them away?”

Two pastors were also arrested for daring to give the homeless food.  Pastor Dwayne Black and Pastor Mark Sims, both from area churches, had their right to religious freedom violated when officers were forced to arrest them due to a new law passed in Florida.  It is a sad, sick shame that Barack Obama and Eric Holder are not storming to Florida, demanding an explanation of why the Civil Rights of these men and other Christians are being violated in Florida.

“We are simply trying to feed people who are hungry,” said Sims. “To criminalize that is contrary to everything that I stand for as a priest and as a person of faith.”

  1. President Obama didn’t pass the city ordinances which the police acted upon, Ft Lauderdale city officials did. They are responsible. If you oppose the cities actions, protest, start petitions, and engage in civil disobedience by feeding people yourself. If you want the law changed, that is the way to go about it. I didn’t notice your being arrested which begs the question, what have you done to try changing the situation other than political blather?
